City Construction & Development is a privately held real estate firm engaged in the construction, development, investment and leasing of retail and service orientated properties. We specialize in the development of upscale shopping centers for retail, restaurant, bank, light automotive and aftermarket services including quick lubes, tire stores and automotive maintenance tenants.
Martin Heise has been headquartered in Boca Raton for over 25 years. Mr. Heise, a State of Florida Certified General Contractor, is the principal of City Construction & Development and its affiliate, Spanish River Construction, Inc. He is also a principal in numerous single purpose entities that own shopping centers throughout Florida and he has been involved with the development, general contracting, leasing and/or property management of these shopping centers as well as properties located in Wisconsin and the Washington D.C. area. This portfolio of properties consists of many highly successful shopping centers located on high traffic roads in prime retail locations.
Our goal is tenant satisfaction in shopping centers with excellent visibility, accessibility, attention to design and detail including front facing signage to provide all tenants with maximum street exposure. Great attention is paid to tenant mix with intent to achieve a synergy that benefits all tenants.
All phases of development of new properties are handled “in house”, inclusive of site selection, construction, leasing, and property management.
